1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Use ('Terms') are a legally binding agreement between you and HilalGO governing your access to and use of the HilalGO website, mobile applications, beta program, and related services (collectively, the 'Service').

By creating an account, accessing, browsing, downloading, or using HilalGO, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You may use HilalGO only if you are legally able to enter into a binding agreement and are not prohibited from using the Service under applicable law.

If HilalGO sets a minimum age for account creation or use in a given market, you must meet that requirement.

3. Your Account

You may need to create an account to access some features. You agree to:

• provide accurate and current information;
• keep your login credentials secure;
• notify us if you believe your account has been compromised;
• accept responsibility for activity that occurs under your account, except to the extent caused by our failure to use reasonable safeguards.

We may allow guest access or limited access to some features, but certain features may require a registered account.

4. The Service

HilalGO offers features that may include:

• prayer times and related faith tools;
• Qibla and mosque discovery;
• halal restaurant and grocery discovery;
• place pages and place detail information;
• check-ins, posts, reviews, ratings, comments, photos, and saved places;
• beta, waitlist, community, support, and related features.

Features may change over time. We may add, remove, suspend, limit, or test features without prior notice, especially during beta.

5. Community Features and User Content

You may be able to submit or share content, including:

• check-ins;
• posts;
• reviews;
• ratings;
• comments;
• captions;
• profile content;
• photos and other uploads;
• trust, verification, or place-related contributions.

You remain responsible for the content you submit.

You represent and warrant that:

• you own the content you submit or have the necessary rights to submit it;
• your content does not violate any law, regulation, contract, intellectual property right, privacy right, publicity right, or other right of any person;
• your content is not misleading, deceptive, fraudulent, defamatory, abusive, hateful, obscene, or otherwise unlawful.

6. License You Give HilalGO

To operate and improve the Service, you grant HilalGO a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, display, adapt, modify, distribute, and make available the content you submit, solely for purposes of:

• operating the Service;
• displaying your content within the Service;
• improving and promoting the Service;
• safety, moderation, integrity, fraud prevention, and abuse prevention;
• complying with legal obligations.

This license ends within a commercially reasonable period after the content is deleted from the Service, except to the extent the content has been shared with others, retained in backups, preserved for legal reasons, or kept for safety, moderation, fraud prevention, or abuse prevention.

7. Rules for Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• violate any law or regulation;
• impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity or affiliation;
• create fake accounts, fake check-ins, or fraudulent engagement;
• manipulate place data, trust signals, ratings, or community activity;
• post unlawful, infringing, harmful, abusive, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, violent, or deceptive content;
• stalk, threaten, exploit, or endanger others;
• upload malware or attempt unauthorized access to the Service or its systems;
• scrape, copy, or harvest data from the Service except as allowed by law or by our written permission;
• interfere with the security, integrity, or performance of the Service;
• use the Service to spam, phish, scam, or run unauthorized promotions;
• use bots or automation in ways that abuse the Service;
• violate third-party terms that apply to data or content displayed through the Service.

8. Check-Ins, Reviews, Ratings, and Place Contributions

HilalGO may use check-ins, ratings, reviews, place edits, trust prompts, and similar contributions to help power place relevance, trust signals, moderation, anti-abuse systems, and community features.

You agree not to submit false, misleading, coordinated, or manipulated place activity.

We may remove, reduce visibility of, label, restrict, investigate, or preserve such activity where needed to protect the integrity of the Service.

9. Listings, Place Data, and Third-Party Content

HilalGO may display listings, map content, place details, photos, coordinates, or other information provided by users, partners, or third-party providers.

We do not guarantee that all listings or third-party data will always be complete, accurate, current, halal-compliant, available, safe, or suitable for your needs. You remain responsible for your choices and use of places and services discovered through HilalGO.

10. Google Maps Platform and Third-Party Terms

Some features may rely on third-party services such as Google Maps Platform, authentication providers, analytics providers, hosting services, or media and infrastructure vendors.

Your use of HilalGO may therefore also involve third-party terms or policies where those services apply.

Where we display third-party map, place, or related data, we may be required to show attribution and comply with provider restrictions. You agree not to remove, obscure, or misuse third-party attribution, embedded notices, or provider content.

11. Intellectual Property

The Service, including HilalGO's software, branding, trademarks, designs, text, graphics, compilations, and other materials, is owned by HilalGO or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Except as expressly permitted, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the Service or its content.

12. Feedback

If you provide suggestions, ideas, or feedback to HilalGO, you grant us the right to use that feedback without restriction or compensation to you.

13. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information. By using HilalGO, you acknowledge that your information may be handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

14. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict, disable, or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if we believe that:

• you violated these Terms or other policies;
• you created risk or legal exposure for HilalGO or others;
• you engaged in fraud, abuse, manipulation, harassment, or unlawful conduct;
• your account or activity threatens the integrity, security, or safety of the Service.

You may stop using the Service at any time. You may also request account deletion subject to our retention, safety, and legal obligations.

15. Beta Features and Availability

HilalGO may be in beta or public beta. Features may be incomplete, experimental, delayed, changed, interrupted, or removed.

We do not promise that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose.

16. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis.

HilalGO disclaims warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, and any warranties arising out of course of dealing or usage of trade.

We do not warrant that:

• the Service will always be secure or error-free;
• the Service will always function without disruptions, delays, or imperfections;
• any content, listing, check-in, review, rating, recommendation, or place information will be accurate, current, or reliable;
• the Service will meet your needs or expectations.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HilalGO and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, licensors, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HilalGO's total liability for claims arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of:

• the amount you paid HilalGO, if any, in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim; or
• USD $100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers or limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

18. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless HilalGO and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, licensors, and partners from and against claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising out of or related to:

• your content;
• your misuse of the Service;
• your violation of these Terms;
• your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.

19. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to HilalGO's operating entity, without regard to conflict of law principles, except where local law requires otherwise.

If you have a concern, you agree to contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally.

20. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may provide notice through the Service, website, email, or other appropriate means. By continuing to use HilalGO after the updated Terms become effective, you agree to the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
